Picture this....my husband, my son, and myself are all standing in front of the bathroom mirror, with a Mary Kay Lip Mask on our lips. Think a 'facial scrub' for your lips. "Okay," I say handing them a wet wash cloth, "It's time to wipe it off." We all lean forward into the mirror, slowly wiping away the scrub that we had previously applied. I watched in amazement as dead skin gently peeled away from my lips. With anticipation, I ran my finger along my bottom lip. A squeal escaped my mouth! My dry, chapped lips had been replaced with the feeling of butter, a baby's bottom, a slip n' slide-- you get the point, they were really smooth! I immediately turned to my husband and son to get their reaction. Realizing I had probably stripped all their masculinity away, by making them do the lip facial, I calmly asked them, "Well, do they feel any different to you?" In the most manly way possible, they agreed that they both liked the results. As they started to exit the bathroom I blocked the doorway. "Not so fast, there is one more step to complete our lip spa." I was preparing myself to pull out my boxing gloves and force them to the ground, to apply the second part of the two-part process. To my surprise, they gladly took the Mary Kay Lip Balm and glided it over their lips. Here's how I describe the Lip Balm--take your favorite chapstick in the whole world and imagine it being 100 times better! So there we all stood, looking at each other with rejuvenated lips. I had just felt like I had provided for my family! Well, minus my other son who was parked outside the bathroom door the whole time, laughing at all of us. My proud moment was interrupted as they each asked, "Are we done now?" Okay, so perhaps I expected to receive some kind of reward for providing this great service, but I knew the product did what it was suppose to, as both of them reached up to feel their lips once more while exiting into the hallway. "Wait," I hollered after them, "we still have the Mint Bliss Energizing Lotion! Don't you want to be energized?!" Since my feet and legs were sore from that day's events, I decided to go ahead and do a side-by-side test of the lotion on myself. On one foot and leg I applied the Mary Kay Mint Bliss Energizing Lotion, on the other I applied a top name brand lotion. After rubbing each lotion in, I sat and waited. I'm still not quite sure what I was waiting for. Perhaps for my foot to break out into a party of some sort? Needless to say, I did notice a difference between the two applications. One foot and leg felt relaxed, smooth, and silky, as if I just came from a spa. The other felt greasy, like no matter how much I rubbed in the lotion, it would not absorb. The winner was clear: the Mary Kay Mint Bliss! These products are a MUST HAVE for this winter! Must. Have.
In my spare time (if there is such a thing!) I used the FREE Mary Kay Virtual Makeover! This new picture of me cracks me up! I have been debating whether or not to grow my hair back out, and this was a fun way to play with it! I was also able to play with makeup colors, various hair colors, and hair styles! Definitely not the most flattering picture of me, but fun nonetheless!
