What is Frugal Living? Frugal living is more than just saving money, yet the attitude you have while doing it. The goal to frugal living is to avoid paying retail for anything, saving the difference. When you walk into a store you should expect to get a discount, somehow, some way. The easiest way to ensure maximum savings is through the usage of coupons. It takes effort, and being proactive to find the deals worth your while. The picture above shows a recent small shopping trip I did, using solely coupons-- 33 packages of pasta, 2 coffees cans, 2 BBQ sauce, 3 boxes of tissues, brownie mix, croƻtons, a 50 oz. and 150 oz. laundry detergent....all for $24! I saved $68 off retail price on items I would have eventually bought! You too can save! Just check out my post on Tips for Newbie Couponers and Frugal Tips to help you get started on your journey. Wow i can't believe you got all that for $24! I really need to start using those coupons!
ReplyDeleteWhen using coupons, you will very rarely have to pay for your toiletries again (tissues, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, razors....)!
