Have you noticed your baked goods not rising as high as they should? It could be that your baking powder or baking soda has lost its potency! Here's how you can test it:
Baking powder: Place a few tablespoons of warm water into a small bowl. Add a teaspoon of baking powder. It should fizz and bubble. If not, it's time to replace it!
Baking soda: Place a few tablespoons of white vinegar into a small bowl. Add a teaspoon of baking soda. It should bubble up and foam. If not, toss it!
