Baked Ham & Swiss Poppy Sliders

We enjoy these during our "finger-food movie nights", at home! Makes a great game day appetizer too!

12 pack of King's Hawaiian Original Rolls
1 Lb. deli-sliced honey ham, shaved
1/2 Lb. (8 oz. pacakge) Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
1-1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) unsalted butter
3 Tbs. Dijon mustard
1-1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tsp. poppy seeds
1 cup yellow onion, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a small saucepan, melt butter, over low-medium heat. Stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and onion. Simmer for several minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the whole pack of rolls in half horizontally, keeping all of the top halves and bottom halves in tact.

Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Spread 1/3 of the onion mixture over the bottom rolls. Top with all of the ham and cheese slices. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese. Spread the remaining onion mixture evenly over the top.

Cover and bake for 15 minutes. Then uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. Cut and separate rolls just prior to serving.

Makes 12 sandwich rolls
